Our Teacher Training is one of the most dynamic and highly respected programs in the world. Continually refined and improved for nearly 30 years, the YogaWorks program maintains its excellent reputation as a training ground for world-class teachers and serious practitioners.

YogaWorks is a Vinyasa-based school and methodology that balances precise instruction, detailed alignment, conscious breathwork, and fluid movement. Skillfully sequenced and themed classes deepen the students’ experience of Yoga, and typically include a dynamic mixture of Sun Salutations and classic Hatha Yoga postures. Intelligent use of modifications and props customize the practice for each student.

The YogaWorks Teacher Training Program is based on this clear, effective, and accessible style of practice.

Our Mission

Combining our dual passions for yoga and travel, we created these Destination Trainings to offer a yogic and cultural immersion, free from the daily demands of familiar routine. We choose locations that are both stimulating to the senses and soothing for the soul — where one can dive into the stream of life or take quiet refuge. Ultimately, we believe that the journey of the spirit is both outward and inward, and yoga is path that brings us home.

As long as I can remember myself, I have always been an adventurer; a curious and active girl. My quest for new discoveries led me away from my birthplace Greece to California, where I was offered a full scholarship as a college basketball player. Following college and after going through several injuries, I started looking for a new passion to replace basketball, help me recover and discover life without it.

My first yoga class ever was love at first sight! I immediately became an enthusiastic student, going to class after class and gaining new experiences day by day. I invested my heart and soul into multiple teacher trainings, workshops, retreats and still do to this day. Annie Carpenter’s clear, approachable and vibrant teaching style inspired me to become a yoga teacher myself. I was thrilled to share my understanding and experiences with students across the world.

After a full circle, life has brought me back to Greece, close to my beloved family, old and new friends. Today, I have the joy and opportunity to teach a diverse group of students: from babies to seniors, from professional athletes to business executives, from absolutely beginners to advanced. I enjoy offering yoga retreats encouraging students to break free from their routine and connect with themselves and the incredible Greek nature. Moreover, as a Senior yoga teacher trainer, I lead teacher trainings in Greece, Cyprus and worldwide as well as online for YogaWorks.

Since moving to Greece I have also had the delight to introduce yoga classes into the fitness community through the Grafts Fitness School; a long lasting relationship that I highly treasure. I am also a yoga consultant and teacher for corporate wellness programs developed for Holmes Place to assist professionals to cope with daily stress and add mindfulness to their life.

I am grateful and honored by this beautiful journey, and truly excited for what is yet to unfold.

After graduating Brown University I began my career as a New York journalist, and later worked as a Script Analyst for Universal Pictures in Hollywood before embracing full-time yoga teaching. Today, I lead trainings, workshops, and yoga events all over the world. My mentors Paul & Suzee Grilley inspired my YogaWise Yin Yoga trainings, and early trainings with Annie Carpenter, Lisa Walford, Sarah Powers, Ana Forrest, Jill Miller, and Shiva Rea were key influences in my Vinyasa teachings.

I honor my foundational Krishnamacharya-lineage studies with the Iyengar family in India (2007) and the Ashtanga founder, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, during his American tour (2005) – as I explore yoga’s evolutionary frontiers with anatomy trailblazers, Gil Hedley and Tom Myers. As a Yoga teacher my effort is focused on offering thoughtful, challenging classes employing creative sequencing, precise instruction, and a philosophical attitude informed by mindfulness meditation practice. I perform numerous online yoga videos for the video-streaming website MyYogaWorks.com, , some of which may be found on YogaVibes.com and the YogaWorks YouTube channel. My teaching is dedicated to the students and loved ones who inspire and teach me every day.
